City Utilities of Richland Center Water Department will be doing 2026 water main flushing Monday – Friday the weeks of May 11th-15th and May 18th-22nd. Flushing this year will not take place during overnight hours and will start at approximately 6:00 am each day and run through mid to late afternoon to accomplish each day’s areas of coverage (Flushing Zone). Storms or other unexpected circumstances may extend or postpone the flushing times or days.
During flushing times, the entire water system (not just the area covered in that day’s flushing zone) may experience rusty, or cloudy water and may have reduced water pressure. The water is safe to drink but could discolor clothes washing.

Monday May 11th – Zone 10 - North Industrial Park back to town along County AA to the City Cemetery Garage at 10th Street, 11th and 12th Street area
Tuesday May 12th – Zone 7 - Allison Park area, North Park to the North end of the City on Allison Park Drive, Collins Drive, Rainbow Drive back to the Campus land
Wednesday May 13th – Zone 6 – 3rd to 9th Streets – Congress to Cedar Street on the East end
Thursday May 14th – Zone 1 - Court to 2nd Street – Congress to Cedar Street and Schmitz Street on the East end
Friday May 15th – Zone 2 - Seminary to Kinder Streets East of the Pine River – Congress to Haseltine Court area on the East end including Ithaca Road
Monday May 18th – Zone 8 - West side of the Pine River that is North of West Seminary Street, North Grove Street, West Side Drive, North Stewart Street, Minor Court, Arbor Lane, US Hwy 14 West of the Pine River to Well 8, UW Campus area, RCHS, Panorama Court
Tuesday May 19th – Zone 9 - West side of the Pine River that is South of West Seminary Street, Cairns Addition, including the Schmitt Woodland Hills, and Brookview Townhouses area. Also including the area around the old Wastewater Treatment plant on South Orange Street.
Wednesday May 20th – Zone 3 - Burton Street to the Hwy 14 bypass – Main Street to the East
Also, on Wednesday May 20th – Zone 11 - The Booster Station area. Stori Drive, Summit Drive, the East end of 7th and 8th Streets, Cedar Street, Valley View Drive and 2nd to 4th Streets East of Cedar Street.
Thursday May 21st – Zone 4 - Center Court mobile home park, Wedgewood Subdivision, Bohman Drive, Foundry Drive, Peebles Drive
Friday May 22nd– Zone 5 - Hwy 14 East corridor East of Foundry Drive to the East side of the City, to and including Walmart, Culvers, All American Do-It Center, and Pleasant Valley Drive to the Southeast Reservoir. *NOTE - The Hwy 14 East road construction may limit how many hydrants are flushed in the construction zone to avoid any water run-off and traffic hazards.
